There is an uneasy calm in Drobo and Japekrom a twin town in the Jaman Municipality of the Brong Ahafo region following clashes between some youth.

From ages now these two towns have never being in good terms because of some land ownership desputes but got settled about two years ago by Suppreme court of Ghana in favour of Japekrom town.

that not withstanding, there is a little pressure in these two towns as they are approaching their traditional festival season, the tension mounted to the highest degree when the two towns youths rose agaist each other on the grounds of Drobo. 

The incident happened after some youth of Drobo and Japekrom clashed on the streets of Drobo.

In the ensuing melee, gun shots were fired leaving scores injured. It is feared that some lives have been lost.
