Ace musician and president of Ghana Music Rights Organisation (GHAMRO) Mr. Rex Owusu Marfo known as Rex Omar has called on the government to Set up a ministry for the creative Arts alone for it is congested in the current ministry and as a matter of that, ministry's impact has not been seen by the Creative Arts industry.


Currently Creative Arts industry is under Ministry of Tourism, Culture and creative Arts. The president again said it will be a waste of time if Government set up just for setting up sake. He said it is time they seperate cultural heritage from the business of culture.


Talking to Londona, host of Pimpina entertainment show on koforidua based kingdom 101.9fm, he made it emphatically clear that due to many under one umbrella, much attention hasn't been given to the industry, no good policy hasbeen drafted to save the dying industry, foreign contents has taken over our airwaves and screens. he fired.
