FOUNDATION OF ANOINTED PRAYER AND FIRE MINISTRY INTERNATIONAL
Ten (10) years ago, the man of God started his ministry in Accra, Fadama Park with few school children single handedly with a megaphone, Rev’s vision as an ordained man of God is to train and help people know God, draw closer to Him, learn and understand the word in order to become great and prominent in the Lord.

As He Train children to know God and what He is able to do in the lives of humans, it caught the attention of some elderly people through his preaching and teaching and also the anointing upon which he is able to deliver people from their problems through Christ who strengthens him.
As time goes by, most of his children had to go to school so they had to stop coming to worship with Rev. but some visited him on their vacation period (holidays). Most of the elderly people who later joined the church found honesty, truthfulness, diligence and faithfulness and also the anointing he is filled with and they also invite their people and by so doing the ministry started increasing in number.
Later some time, the man of God saw how God has been good to him so he decided to seek for a temporal worship center so all the members can come together as one people of God and worship, so he asked God to direct his path and his prayer was answered, he later met another man of God Rev. Bismarck who was also into his own ministry at Fadama Night Market.
Rev. Bismarck led Rev. Maxwell to secure a place in Fadama Night Market, Opposite Krachi house and with God on his side the owners did not hesitate to release their compound to the man of God, lo and behold and to the Glory of God.
Next move was the man of God to lead his team to go renovate their new worship center on 29th March 2017 (Thursday) and church started the following Sunday.

The size and numbers keeps increasing and to God be the Glory, the Church now has almost all the instruments, the Church singing group named “Anointed Voices” and competent elders, and as the good book said “behind every successful man there’s a good and precious woman” to explain this, it boils down to Rev. Maxwell Kwapong married to a supportive, dedicative and clean hearted woman, Mrs. Henrietta Kwapong. She is fully behind his husband with the Ministry and with God by their side all is moving well with them in life.

Monrovia — Cocoa farmers in Liberia have expressed their unhappiness with new policies being introduced by the Liberia Agriculture Commodity Regulation Authority (LACRA), stating it has some unfair regulations that would hamper small actors in the sector.
LACRA, amongst other things, would now set the prices for buying cocoa and limit the buying and export of cocoa to only licensed merchants.
Some of the farmers expressed dismay over plans by LACRA to impose royalty of US$50 per ton on the export of cocoa, stating that it would impose burden on farmers.
The farmers also expressed concern over the failure of LACRA to ensure that the exporters buy the cocoa beans from them for fair prices.
"The farmers' cooperative accusing them (LACRA) because of the prices [royalty] they are giving the exporters are also given to us. At times, I produce 120 metric tons to sell to the exporters but there is no fair commission and LACRA doesn't care why the exporters does not give cooperatives good commission," said Tetejay Sesay, a Cocoa Farmer from Lofa County.
The farmers called for more consultation and cooperation between farmers' cooperatives and LACRA to ensure a plain leveled field for actors in the sector.
The consultative forum which was held under the auspices of the U.K Embassy brought together major stakeholders in the cocoa sector.
The forum comes at a time when the Government of Liberia has come under criticism for opting to monopolize export of Liberia's cocoa.
The cocoa sector, according to reports, has over 30,000 smallholder cocoa farmers and if monopolized, it will destroy the investments made in the sector over the last decade by smallholders, cooperatives, the Government of Liberia and the international donor communities.
FrontPageAfrica gathered that the Liberian government has decided to grant export monopoly to Aya Group which is a part of Sidani Enterprises (Lebanese) to export cocoa. The same group that has a lot of road contracts. Everyone must sell to them and they will control the foreign exchange coming in.
This mean, all local producers would sell to the Lebanese at a price they [the Lebanese] would determine and then export. In so doing, Aya Group, which is owned by Bassam Sidani and his son, Hassan Sidani, would control the foreign exchange earned from the export of cocoa.
In Ghana, only the Government's Ghana Cocoa Board exports, thus they control foreign exchange derived from export earnings. Cocoa is a major contributor to Ghana's economy.
Ghana generates about US$2 billion in foreign exchange annually through the export of cocoa. The cash crop is a major contributor to Ghana's revenue and GDP.

The world’s social and financial systems must undergo a huge transformation to revive the natural world that is vital for human life, a major UN report has concluded.
There should be an end to the focus on economic growth, international scientists warn.
They also say consumers in wealthy countries should waste less food, while world leaders should introduce urgent reforms including creating more green space in cities, bring in wildlife-friendly farming and curb wasteful consumption.
In the first comprehensive report on biodiversity by the UN, governments are also called on to:
- restore habitats such as native forests
- grow more food on less land
- crack down on illegal logging and fishing
- create marine protected areas
- reduce pollution and the flow of heavy metals and untreated wastewater into the environment
The study, endorsed by 130 countries, including the US, Russia and China, sets out a framework for halting what has been dubbed the sixth mass extinction of life on Earth, from insects to plant life and fish. It is the strongest call ever by global scientists for action.
But the experts warned that “vested interests” such as energy giants and farmers that benefit from subsidies and lack of regulations would oppose changes to the status quo.
Species are being lost at an “unprecedented” rate – tens or hundreds of times more quickly than in the past, the report states.
Without “transformational change”, the damage will continue or worsen up to 2050 and beyond, directly threatening human wellbeing worldwide, the study says. It will also undermine efforts to tackle poverty and hunger, improve health and curb climate change.

Several farmlands at Nakpanduri in the North East Region have been attacked by fall army worms.
Farmers in the affected areas are lamenting the absence of adequate chemicals to stop the onslaught of the pests.
According to the farmers, they have been compelled to use alternative means such as hand picking, mixture of pepper, omo, dry battery liquid to manage the situation.
A visit by DAILY GUIDE to Duut Abdulai Gariba’s farm in Nakpanduri revealed that his five acre maize farm had been destroyed by the fall army worms.
He lamented about the investment he injected into the farm hoping to get a bumper harvest which would be used to pay his school fees and also take care of his family but the farm has been destroyed by the fall armyworm.
‘If we are not lucky, this year we might not get a bumper harvest due to the invasion of the fall armyworm.’
Mr.Gariba said the farm is the only source of income for his family adding that he might not farm next farming season because no income will be realized from this farming season.
He appealed to the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA) and other institutions to come to the aid of farmers in the area with chemicals to fight the fall armyworms.
The fall armyworm which was detected in West Africa in 2016 has destroyed thousands of hectors of farmlands.
The fall armyworm has appetite for consuming maize, cereals, and leafy vegetables.
The Bunkpurugu-Nakpanduri MoFA Director, Mr. Suwale Abukari confirmed to DAILY GUIDE that the fall armyworm has resurfaced in the district but was quick to add that some chemicals have been distributed to farmers in the district.
Mr. Abukari hinted that they have run short chemicals in the district to supply to farmers.
He admitted that the chemicals received in the district were not enough to be distributed to every farmer in the area.
‘We have made another request for more chemicals because looking at what was brought was not sufficient.’
According to him, the district agric offices have embarked on a sensitization tour to educate farms about how to tackle the fall armyworm issue.
He urged farmers to desist from using unapproved methods to fight the fall armyworm adding that it could affect the plant development.

New Delhi, India - It may contribute to hundreds of millions of people's livelihoods, but India's fertiliser manufacturing industry falls short of complying with environmental safety standards, even if it is one of the most energy-efficient sectors of the economy, according to a new report.
The widespread production and use of the common fertiliser chemical urea in India's large agriculture sector has led to alarming levels of nitrogen pollution of surface water and groundwater in many Indian states, says the report produced by the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), a not-for-profit think-tank.
Nitrogen is found in most chemical fertilisers and contributes to groundwater contamination, damaging the environment and people's health globally, just as many regions around the world face acute water shortages.
Chemicals such as urea form the bulk of fertilisers in India, which remains the world's second-largest consumer of the chemicals after China, according to the report.
"There is a [huge concern] regarding nitrogen pollution in India, and we feel the industry has to do a lot," Chandra Bhushan, the CSE's deputy director-general, told Al Jazeera.
Bhushan says the industry contributes to water shortages in many parts of the country that are already parched.
"Our assessment is that in this case, the industry has to do even better than the international standards," he says.
Green revolution
India has grown rapidly since 1991, when the government began liberalising the economy. But still more than half of its workforce remains engaged in agriculture, which contributed between 17 percent and 18 percent of gross domestic product over the last three years, according to government figures.
Fertilisers have played a major role in improving crop yields, and they have helped make developing countries - including India - more secure in their food supplies.
After periods of famine in the years following India's independence in 1947, fertilisers helped to transform agriculture starting in the early 1960s - a development that has come to be known as the Green Revolution.
But since then, the industry has been heavily controlled by the government, which runs a central subsidy programme for farmers to procure fertilisers. At present, there are 32 manufacturing facilities that make urea, half of them privately owned. These facilities sell to farmers at discounted prices set by the government, which in turn compensates the manufacturers.
A parliamentary report released in 2016 showed the use of chemical fertilisers was widespread - and yet uneven - across India. The report called for a change in the government's subsidy policy.
"We have reached a state where fertilisers have been used so much that it has led to a degradation of land quality," Saudamini Das, an economist at the Institute of Economic Growth in New Delhi, told Al Jazeera. "We need a complete overhaul of the agricultural practices."
The latest report by the CSE calls for the government to liberalise the industry to make it more competitive, potentially leading to greater efficiencies and more environmentally sound production practices.
Factories currently use fossil fuels to produce fertilisers, but could switch to renewable sources, the report says.
It adds that nearly 70 percent of the nitrogen produced by the fertiliser industry ends up polluting the environment.
"We are not just giving an economic reason for decentralisation, but an environmental one, too," says Bhushan. "Innovation and greening of fertiliser production would only happen through competitiveness. Market forces should be unleashed."
Making the switch
In her first annual budget speech earlier this month, India's Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman, urged farmers to adopt chemical-free agricultural practises and return to more traditional farming methods in an effort to double farm incomes by 2022.
States like Andhra Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh have already rolled out such methods. These regions face several challenges: a crisis of low crop yields, the decreasing size of farmers' plots due to poor land reform policies and climate change, and low financial returns on farms - all problems that state governments hope to reverse.
Thousands of farmers in these states have committed suicide in the past decade due to unpaid debts.
But many analysts say transitioning to non-chemical farming methods will be tough for many farmers. Farmers in the state of Maharashtra have refused to make the switch fearing a reduction in their harvests.
The increasing frequency of droughts and heatwaves across India has led to calls from many policymakers for a second agricultural revolution.
"Making farming economically viable and sustainable will strengthen rural livelihoods and thereby reduce rural-to-urban migration," Devinder Sharma, a trade and food policy analyst in New Delhi, told Al Jazeera. "An economically viable agriculture will reignite the rural industries. The path to future economic growth in India surely passes through its villages."
Sharma says that low yields, falling groundwater levels and continued soil degradation are warning signs that India needs to implement radical changes to its farming sector. "The warning signals are all there," he says, stressing that it is now "time to act".
