Ashanti Region-No Common Fund No Peace

The Ghana federation of disa
bility organizations(GFD) embarked on a gargantuan demonstration to the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly for allegedly delaying the  disbursement of the common fund at Kumasi.

The President of the federation, Mr. Prince Debrah speaking  to Nana Owusu Achiaw   stated that, they just want the Assembly to elaborate the reason for the exception of persons with disabilities ages from zero to eighteen years as well as the aged from sixty years upward. Aside this, the Assembly should explain to them why persons with disabilities have to go for already bought items to start business. Furthermore, the delayed in disbursing of the disability common fund and the guidelines which parliament has set for the District Common Fund has been put aside for new release to take over also needs to be explained.
